Philadelphia shuts out Steelers to Advance to Championship

On December 21, 1947 December 21 at Forbes Field in Pittsburgh, the Pittsburgh Steelers only Divisional Playoff apperance until 1972, ends in a rout, as the Philadelphia Eagles Score touchdowns in each of the first three quarters, posting a 21–0 shutout to win the East title and advanced to the championship game in Chicago. The Eagles had also pitched a 21–0 shutout on November 30 at Shibe Park against the Steelers.
